Assistance for Sunflower Employee for time off &ER

Hey there everybody it’s Sunflower Glass Company located in Brooklyn. We have never set up a GoFundMe before but we’ve seen a huge outpouring of support and kindness from our community asking us to, so here it is. 

Last night on Tuesday, January 5th at approximately 5pm a masked man entered our retail store at 12 Wilson Ave. in Bushwick Brooklyn and physically assaulted and violently attacked our female employee while she was alone during her day shift. He then left the scene before the cops arrived after being called immediately.

She was escorted to the ER last night to be checked for a concussion, and to check lacerations to her throat as well as injuries to her back and head, which required an MRI, etc. and is currently at home doing well and not working. Any support is going directly to our wonderful coworker and neighborhood favorite, since she will be taking significant time off from work to recover, recuperate, and heal from this horrendous attack.

We love being part of this neighborhood and have been for 10 years and really appreciate the kind words and love you all have always shown us and our employees. We posted this incident primarily to keep our streets safe and have people be on the lookout for this man, but we truly appreciate the support everyone is showing for our favorite Coworker, and my best friend. Thank you all, stay safe out there.
