Assistance for Ryan and Alisha.

My name is James Hughes and I am creating this post for my cousin Ryan Bent. He is currently in Mexico with his wife Alisha, and is having some serious and unexpected health conditions. Ryan is not one to ever ask for help, so I've taken it upon myself to have his Wife write a synopsis as to where they're at medically to date. Their Children are not with them and they're going to be stuck in Mexico for awhile with no income coming in and we all know that bills stop for noone. I have had Alisha include her e-mail for the purpose of e-transfers for those that could possibly donate. Every little bit helps!
Alisha's words:
While vacationing in Mexico, Ryan became critically ill and experienced severe pain. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance and has remained hospitalized for the past five days. At this time, he is medically unfit to travel back to Canada, and our stay in Mexico is now indefinite. We had hoped to return home in time for Christmas, but unfortunately, that is no longer possible. Ryan has been diagnosed with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis, along with multiple gallstones in both the gallbladder and bile duct. These conditions will require two surgical procedures: one to remove the gallbladder and another to remove the stones from the bile duct. Under normal circumstances, these would be relatively straightforward surgeries if they could be performed immediately. However, the severity of the pancreatitis has caused significant inflammation and infection, with fluid accumulation in his abdomen and chest. This has led to breathing complications and other serious concerns. Due to the excessive fluid, surgery is currently unsafe and must be postponed until the inflammation and fluid are brought under control—a process that may take several weeks. Ryan began nebulizer treatments yesterday, along with breathing exercises, in an effort to improve his respiratory function and avoid intubation. His medical team has expressed surprise that intubation has not yet been required, given the severity of his condition. Despite the challenges we are facing, we remain grateful for every small positive step. The medical team is cautiously optimistic about Ryan’s prognosis, and he continues to fight through this with remarkable strength and determination.
