Rodney Sutton suffered a stroke on the morning of July 4th. He was driving on his way to his part-time job, crossed the road and hit a mailbox. A homeowner realized Rodney was having a medical emergency and called rescue. He was transported to the hospital, and a stent was immediately put in place for several blood clots.

Rodney has no movement or feeling on his left side, and the stroke has caused some "slight brain damage." His medical team indicates he has a long road to recovery and will be released to in-patient rehab once he gets out of ICU.

The family uses Rodney's income for household bills, groceries and other expenses. In addition, he is now facing medical bills and costs dealing with his hospital stay for family members (gas, food, etc.).
