Assistance for Riley's Mystery Baby Aiden Gephart

Aiden was born on October 20, 2019, seemingly a healthy baby. At 2 weeks of age he was taken to the ER with labored breathing, low sodium levels and low body temperature. Many tests were done and it was beginning to look like he had acquired a virus. After 4 days in the NICU it looked like he would be sent home soon. However, he ended up being life lined to Riley's Children's Hospital on a ventilator that day!
Riley's found him to be hypertensive and initially they knew that his kidneys were not functioning at a level that they should be, but could not figure out why. He had a blood transfusion as well as a host of other treatments such as 2 spinal taps, genetic testing, and many, many more tests that are continuing yet today.
His kidney functions finally improved, but he still continued to have issues with hypertension and his breathing, and a host of other unexplained health issues.
On November 25th he was put on ECMO which is a child's life support. It was done as a bridge to treatment as they needed to do some procedures that they couldn't be sure he would survive through. They did a plasma paresis shortly after putting him on ECMO. That did not bring about the desired results. They are talking of doing a lung biopsy. And his heart that has been well up until now, is not as strong as they'd like it to be. They still have no clear diagnosis after all these weeks.
This has all been such a stress for the entire family. Their 3-1/2 year old daughter doesn't understand why her baby Aiden cannot come home. She doesn't understand why they all can't go home. She is with her mamaw and papaw for the duration. Andrew and Jennifer are with Aiden 24/7.
This campaign has been started due to the numerous people that have asked me 'how can we send money to Andrew and Jennifer?" And "why isn't there a Go Fund Me Page for Andrew and Jennifer?" We are humbled by those that want to support this family through this most stressful of times. Andrew is on unpaid FMLA and has been since November 8th when Aiden was life lined to Riley's. Jennifer is currently on maternity leave, but that will soon be ending. As of now it looks as though they will be at Riley's through the New Year and how far beyond is yet to be determined.
We are so grateful for all of the prayers that have been said, and are continuing to be said for Aiden, Andrew, Jennifer and Adalee! We ask that even if you cannot donate to their cause, please, please pray for Aiden and his teams and teams of doctors, nurses, residents, etc. at Riley's. That they can figure out what is wrong and/or how to treat baby Aiden! He has been through SO much in his short 6 weeks of life! We have nearly lost him multiple times. Pray that God will heal him fully and completely!
