I am Rosa, A’Lisa’s mom, and I am raising money for my daughter, A’Lisa who  suffered an unprovoked attacked by a dog in early October,  about a month ago.  As a result of the attack, she was hospitalized for more than five weeks, with numerous surgeries that resulted in her right arm being amputated. Due to Covid-19, A’Lisa lost her job and medical coverage. Because of her current job status, she doesn’t have the money to take care of her needs, nor for rehabilitation.  She was discharged from hospital and sent home, without any rehabilitation for learning to use her left hand and how to take care of herself because  the dominant one, her right forearm was amputated. In addition to the rehabilitation, she needs physical therapy, occupational therapy, and psychiatric counseling as a result of PTSD she’s suffering from the traumatic event of losing her right arm.  A’Lisa is unmarried but has always been a person who  is self-sufficient, outgoing, and hard working.  She doesn’t qualify for any type of public assistance because she’s single and doesn’t have a lot of babies.  She has no one to assist her financially, nor with her personal care.   She has only minimum insurance coverage that doesn’t qualify for her to go to rehabilitation facility subsequent to her discharge.  This is so unfair and self- deprecating for her to be in this situation. In addition to the aforementioned, she has no coverage for her medication. Nevertheless,  and unfortunately, this is her current situation!  We would appreciate any and all donations and outpouring of your love for my daughter at this time.  May God bless you for your financial support during this trying and life altering event in my daughter, A’Lisa’s life.  According to scripture,  ‘When you give to the poor, you lend unto the Lord’.
