Assistance for Pat and Cat Yahrmatter

Many of you know that Pat has been dealing with health issues these past couple years. In 2020 at a doctor visit to discuss chronic hip and back pain it was discovered that he had prostate cancer. While developing a treatment plan a mass was found on his pancreas. The decision was made to treat the prostate cancer then to address the mass. In 2022 after radiation treatments were finished, they put their focus on the mass. They found it to be a cancerous mass attached to his pancreas spreading to a lymph node. On April 20, 2022 Pat underwent surgery to remove the cancerous tumor and what was expected to be a 7 hour procedure turned into 13 hours. Naturally that lead to further complications extending his time in the ICU. He is now expected to be in ICU for an determined amount of time followed by more time in the hospital and possible rehab facility to aid in his long recovery. Unfortunately, this means both Patrick and Cat are missing work and with it the ability to cover the day to day expenses. Even with insurance we know that medical bills are mounting. Many of you have asked how you can assist both of them during this exhausting and difficult time. First of all your love and prayers are of the MOST comfort and encouragement.
