Jose Gutierrez, one of the founders of the Border Patrol Victims Network was swiftly deported to MX on May 21st. He and his family are in URGENT need of support.
On Thursday May 21, long time CA resident and professional musician Jose Gutierrez was deported by ICE agents who detained him outside his job in Los Angeles where he has lived for the past 40 years and fathered his two children.
He was deported within hours. Gutierrez was brutally beaten in 2011 by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the San Luis Port of Entry in AZ; He was in a coma for a month and left with permanent disabilities. Jose and Shena Gutierrez were among the founding families of the Border Patrol Victims Network (BPVN).
