As many of you know I have been between the hospital and rehab since July with complications from a muscle injury that caused a lot of additional issues. I suffered a tear in my esophagus as a result of a medical test, developed air in my chest cavity, aspirated on a test and was unable to breathe, and was eventually intubated for several weeks before waking up with chest tubes in both lungs. I am now in rehab and after months of being bed bound, I am having to learn to walk again. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with, and now I am running up against the end of my benefits. 

I am not someone who normally asks for help, but I’m finding this time exceedingly terrifying.
