Assistance for LaKeisha during layoff from job.

Hello,

My name is LaKeisha - formally "lovetheyself365" on social media. I am an advocate for mental health, self-love and fat liberation.

Recently, I was laid off from my job and I have exhausted all of my savings to support myself for the last two months. I am coming to a crossroads where I can't afford rent and my bills while still looking for another means of work. I'm asking for financial assistance during this time, while I'm aware many are living through some pressing times, I have exhausted all other options.

Before I was laid off, I was healing from multiple traumas, including being raped in 2020 and becoming agoraphobic. Unfortunately, the added stress of being laid off has not helped in this process. I am failing mentally and physically, and asking for help has been a huge crutch for me due to my previous experience.

I have filed for unemployment, but the benefits barely cover food, gas & utilities. And, the way unemployment works, once I've found any job, regardless of matching my previous salary, I'll no longer qualify for benefits.

My goal is to secure my housing for the rest of my lease ($20,000) then work on securing the utilities I need, rehire my therapist and work out a payment plan and pay on the COBRA insurance ($675/month) so I can return to my doctors and find out what is going on with my body.

Physically, my body has been suffering from something very difficult to get the doctors to see, but with my last visit to the ER this past January, we've concluded it's not just a simple "loose weight" factor.

My mental health has been failing me and while I don't want to go deep into my issues, this process is causing me to drift away and I have problems focusing. Sometimes, I don't believe certain things are happening. Anything you can donate would be appreciated.
