Assistance for Family of Joe Whitwell

All funds will be deposited into an account set up by Joe's wife, Marguerite. I have been connected to Joe and his family for many years. He has mentored me over the years as a therapist and a friend, and much of where I am in my career today I owe to his wisdom and guidance. Seven years ago, Joe had an accident that left him paralyzed. I have watched his family work so hard to make his life as comfortable (and enjoyable) as possible, given his limitations. They have given of themselves and sacrificed many of their own needs to be there for him. Joe is now in the hospital with multiple issues, including COVID, and he is likely in his last days here on earth. When I asked what they needed, I was told that things are really tough financially for them, as the last several years have cost more than just emotional and physical stress on the family. I know that Joe would not have wanted that for his family. Let’s make things a little easier for them financially in the midst of these difficult circumstances.
