Assistance for an animal hero, Patricia
Donation protected
Hi friends, a dear animal caretaker and loving rescuer, Patricia Whiddon, needs our help after spending so many years of her life giving to those in need. Have you ever found an orphaned kitten or injured wildlife that needed immediate help? If so, you would be one of the people who are eternally grateful for this woman. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, she now needs our help. Patricia has been recently diagnosed with basal ganglia strokes. These strokes occur when blood leaks from a blood vessel and into the brain tissue, resulting in swelling and brain damage. Damage to the brain can cause long-term effects on movement, perception, and judgment. There are ways to treat the basal ganglia brain damage and promote recovery. Still, Patricia is waiting to see a neurologist, and these treatments have the potential to be costly, not to mention other living expenses. This condition has affected her ability to work, and she has no medical insurance. Patricia is in danger of losing her house and is in dire need of financial assistance until she is able to receive stabilizing medical treatment.
Patricia Whiddon has dedicated her entire life to helping animals. She was a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, a resource for animal welfare professionals or anyone that came across wildlife in need of help. She has dedicated her time, money, and existence to rehabilitating injured raptors, deer, foxes, bobcats, bears, and otters. She fosters neonatal kittens and homeless cats because of her expertise in veterinary care. She helped thousands of cats and kittens. No cry for help was ignored. Alongside her generous life's work, she found some time to create art for others to enjoy. Her wildlife paintings have hung in the Smithsonian wildlife center in Front Royal, Virginia. Patricia's art is even featured on the Virginia Wildlife Conservationist license plate.
Please take this opportunity to help this remarkable lady that has given so much to the most helpless creatures in this world. She has given them a voice, and we need to help Patricia regain hers. Every bit helps. I hope we can help her afford to regain her health so that she may continue her essential work in this world.
All proceeds go directly to Patricia Whiddon to assist her with medical and living expenses during these troubling times.
