Assistance for Adam Billand’s Family
Donation protected
Hello, I am one of Adam Billand’s fiancée Veronica’s, best friends, Laura.
As most of you know, on March 8th, Adam went to Bayshore Hospital seeking treatment for something we all thought was a simple need of antibiotics, but while there, he went into cardiac arrest and became non-responsive. It was discovered that Adam had an undiagnosed heart disease. Many prayers were said, many came to visit to try to get Adam to wake up, but nothing worked and ultimately, the hospital left Veronica and Adam’s family with the hardest decision so he would no longer suffer.
On, March 18th, 9 hours after the machines were turned off, at the young age of 42, Adam succumbed to his illness.
Adam was truly, one-of-a kind. He was an amazing son, brother, father, life-mate, and friend. He was always honest, hardworking and had an infectious laugh, a kind soul and one of the biggest hearts. Just a helluva good man, who was loved by so many.
Adam and Veronica were building a life together, raising two amesome children, Adyson and Adam Jr. (AJ), not knowing they wouldn’t get a chance to be married or live out their lives together. The wedding plans were being made without any rush since they thought they had all the time in the world.
Veronica never imagined a life without Adam by her side, watching the children grow. This was definitely not in the plans.
This loss is unexpected and devastating, to say the least. One they, as well as all of Adam’s family and friends, will be affected by the rest of our lives.
Unfortunately, Veronica and Adam’s children, need our help for expenses. It isn’t easy for Veronica to ask for help, hence the reason for the go-fund me I am doing on her’s and the children’s behalf.
If you’re able to give, please do. Anything, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
