For the last 2 years my uncle, Abner, has been battling pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, over the last month, the disease has taken over his body.  He is no longer able to walk, as well as unable to communicate. Therefore, he is confined to a hospital bed. However, his will to keep fighting has inspired me to create this fund. It hurts me to see my uncle like this because I am so accustomed to seeing him dance, sing and move all around the house making sure he’s giving everyone his undivided attention.  For all of you who know Abner, I am sure you will never forget his giant hugs and “besitos”.  What hurts me even more is to see my aunt, Liz, battle with all the expenses while trying to comfort her husband at such a crucial time. Please help me in raising money for a man who loved me as his own daughter, someone who needs all the love and support at this time.  In order to help with the finances of in home nurse care, I have decided to start this fund to help alleviate the economic burden the Gonzalez family is facing. Anything will help, and is greatly appreciated by myself as well as my family. Please keep Abner in your prayers, for he will always be a very memorable influence in my life as well as many others.
