My name is Tracie and I am a close friend of the family. Sarah was up here in Illinois for her best friend’s wedding. They were getting things done before the rehearsal dinner and that’s when everything changed.They were by Ottawa IL where they were Tboned by a semi. In the vehicle was Sara, her best friend and her best friends 1 year old baby. Her best friend was to be married the next day and died on impact. The baby and Sarah were airlifted to Peoria IL. The baby had scratches and bruises but will be okay. Sarah has a fractured pelvis, fractures to her L3 and L4, a broken arm which requires surgery to repair, a laceration to her eye and leg, chipped teeth. Her family has driven from Alabama to be with her. They will need assistance with medical, housing, long term care and to help in getting Sarah back to Alabama. Please assist if you can, if not please pray for them. This will be a long recovery.
