Assist Zach Bedell in Covering Funeral Costs

My name is Nate Berg. I had the honor of working with Jim Bedell for several years at Babe Winkelman Productions.
Jim passed away on Monday, October 20th. His wife, Karen, passed away in January, leaving their son, Zach, with all the funeral expenses. As you can imagine, Zach, being a young father, has limited cash, so any donation will help him give his dad the peace he deserves.
I set the goal of $5000. Jim is currently at Ramsey Medical Center due to an autopsy that needed to be conducted. The funds will ensure that Jim will be released to Brenny so Zach will be able to see his dad to have a proper goodbye as well as having his dad cremated.
There is still a large outstanding balance on Karen’s funeral as well, so if we raise the ceiling, this is why. Jim was on disability, so it was hard for him to pay down the debt owed for having a funeral for his wife.
We all have lost loved ones and know how important it is to have some keepsakes. To me, it would sure be nice for Zach to keep some of his mother and father’s most cherished possessions instead of having the county possess them to simply help pay down the debt. It doesn’t matter if your donation is $1; all will help in a major way.
All funds will go directly to Koop Funeral Home in Crosby, MN.
Jim was a very avid fisherman, hunter, and all-around outdoorsman. Some of you may even remember him hosting a few shows for Babe. He was very much respected and loved throughout the outdoor industry. He worked many years with many personalities.
I was lucky enough to travel and laugh with Jim all over North America. His passion was strong. He didn’t simply work in the outdoors; he lived it.
