Help Yolanda to Overcome Health Challenges

Hello Family and Friends,

Yolanda Williams (Yo-yo) here, and I am reaching out for assistance due to years of illness that, after five year journey, has landed me in the hospital again for surgery to save my foot. After several years of struggling with Diabetes it has caused an open wound on the heel of my foot that refuses to heal. Diabetes and other major diagnoses have kept me from living a full life, working in the career I love (Healthcare), and most of all, it has kept me from roller skating, my favorite activity to do. My social life is non-existent. I’ve declined social gatherings with the fear that I’m moving too slow to keep up. This is certainly not the life I expected at age 53.

With this said, I am asking for help with my rent and food for the next month.

Unfortunately, over this five-year journey, I’ve been denied disability 4 times. It’s an exhausting process and I was unable to receive unemployment. Although I do qualify for disability benefits because of several health issues related to Diabetes, I was still denied. Please be assured that your help will be used to cover my rent and food.
