My name is Florence and I am here to introduce you to our SEIU Local 503, Sublocal 926 member, Xavier Gispert.

Xavier recently lost his brother to a sudden tragedy. Xavier is a young man who is navigating grief and taking care of the logistics of the arrangements involved in his brother Liam's passing.

His organizer, Launa, and I are hoping to be able to help him raise enough for cremation and an urn and potentially a little money left over to assist him with bills that need attention due to his being out of work during this loss.

Xavier is a proud member of a small sublocal and is a fleet driver. He described his position as the best job he has ever had and is happy to be a dues-paying member. Launa has expressed that Xavier is excited about becoming a union leader and she is helping him to achieve that.

Liam was a talented young man with a bright future until he was taken away from his brother.
