Hello everybody. I’m Sabrina and Theresa is my mother. As most of you may know she was diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell lung cancer in may of 2024 after she discovered a lump on her neck that was not going away. We were all devastated after finding out. She was determined to fight this cancer until she couldn’t anymore! She went through a lot of chemo treatments to keep the cancer from spreading which did work for awhile. She accumulated a lot of expenses since being diagnosed. She always worried about her bills and even worked the entire time up until a couple weeks ago. October 7th she received her results from her ct scans and the cancer had spread to her liver giving up was not an option for her she wanted to keep fighting to spend as much time with her family, mainly her grandkids who she loved sooo much & did everything for. Her “peanuts” were her world! My mom decided to do a round of a very strong chemo on October 14th to give her more time and since then she became very ill. She went to the hospital a few days after her chemo. The pain she was going through started to become unbearable. The fluid around her lungs made it hard to breathe. The fluid had leaked into her abdomen that caused bloating. Her legs were very swollen. Her appetite started to diminish, her voice had changed. There was nothing more the hospital could do for her. She was released home but after she stopped taking her pain medicine it was too hard to watch her be in pain. She was transported to hospice in Medina yesterday on October 23rd. That’s when we were told she only has days left to live. I should have been preparing myself for this but nothing can prepare you to lose your mother. This is so hard on all of us. We just didn’t expect for her to pass away soo soon. My mom was the best mother all four of us kids could have asked for. She did everything for everybody without hesitation. We are asking for help with funeral costs and medical expenses. We appreciate all the support we have been receiving.
