Sue has lived her life loving and working with dogs, it’s what she does for a living. She hasn’t been able to work since she was diagnosed with cancer. The first cancer diagnosis was colon cancer. It then metastasized into a rare ovarian cancer. She has had multiple surgeries and painful setbacks along the way. She had to live with a colostomy bag for a while and also developed an infection where her chemotherapy port is. Sue also has a cancerous tumor the size of a flat watermelon. After months of chemotherapy, she was told the cancer is very aggressive and is spreading quickly. Her last resort was trying a different type of chemotherapy and a final surgery to remove the mass. Unfortunately, neither the surgery nor the new chemotherapy helped and after a stay in the hospital she was told by her doctors that there was nothing more they could do and she was sent home for hospice care. Her body is fighting its last fight. Sue does not have any life insurance or savings and has no way of planning for or paying for her final expense care. Sue only has three family members left and unfortunately they can’t help with any significant expense. Sue is now at home sleeping and in pain for most of the day each day. She is not often lucid anymore. Sue has no one that can help with her expenses so we are asking her friends and anyone who can help for a donation. Any amount will help, even if it’s 5 dollars. Sue will be cremated but as of now, there is no money to do that for her, let alone have a little memorial service for her. Sue is very much loved by all those who know her. We are running out of time now and we ask you to look into your heart and find compassion for her and her life and please help us not to allow her to fade away into obscurity with no celebration of her life and way to get her cremated. At the very least, we need to be able to get her cremated. Please help us honor her the proper way. No matter how small the amount may be, every cent matters. Everyone deserves to be honored and remembered. Sue is a Christian woman and child of God and she can not ask for help herself now so we are asking for her. We are trusting God who tells us that if we give to the needy, we are doing it for Jesus and we will be rewarded. Helping those in need demonstrates our love for God and reflects Christ’s teachings. It’s things like this that matter; helping someone who desperately needs it so after they are gone, they can be treated delicately and with kindness and that in the end…they mattered.
