Hello!! I’m a 24 year old trans woman and I have finally, after years of struggling, secured the proper insurance to get my FFS done! It’s been a long journey and I feel incredibly blessed to have been able to reach this point. While I’m extremely grateful that my Insurance will cover the majority of the procedure, I will still be responsible for a bit of a coinsurance. I will be needing to pay 3,500 for my coinsurance and hospital fees before my surgery on September 2nd, and will be out of work for about 3-4 weeks. The 7,000 will help me pay the remaining surgical cost and provide me enough funds to make it through my healing process. Anything helps and I am extremely grateful to my friends and community for the help and assistance!
