Assist with Sally Burke's Final Expenses

My mom, Sally Burke, went into cardiac arrest twice on December 10, 2023. She had a stent put in that day. She was on a ventilator for 3 days. She was exutubated 3 days later. She was doing good so she was transferred to Christ hospital in December 21, 2023 for therapy. On December 24th, after her third therapy session, she had a severe stroke on the right side of her brain. They were able to remove the clot.. A tracheotomy was put in on January 8th. As well as a feeding tube. She was in and out of icu for 3 months. She had the ventilator put into the tracheotomy in February.

On March 8th she was discharged from

Christ Hospital to Bria in Palos Hills. She was then going back and forth from Bria to Palos hospital until Monday, July 15th.

We were told that day that she doesn’t have much more time and may not make it through the night. She made it to the next day. We made the most difficult decision to put her on hospice and remove the ventilator.

On July 17, 2024, my mother went to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her family telling her how much they love her and holding her hand until the very end.

Funeral arrangements are being made. Anything you can give to help offset funeral cost and medical bills would be greatly appreciated.
