My name is Nyla Brooks and Janiya Brooks and we are raising money to support our sister funeral cost. Our sister name is Myanna Brooks and she was a senior in college at Mount St. Mary's University located in Emmitsburg, MD. She was studying to be a Psychologist.

Three years ago Myanna underwent at double lung transplant and she was full of life. After being on campus for two weeks Myanna became sick with Dermatomyositis which is autoimmune disease that caused a lot of damage to her lungs. She had to finish classes online and couldn't return back in person.

Myanna was recently diagnosed with Pneumonia which led to her having a stroke and kidney failure. Myanna had life insurance but it was less than two years so the policy didn't mature. We would love for you to donate money for her funeral funds. Her Wake will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 3-3:30. Her Funeral will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 2:30-3:30.
