Hello everyone, I am taking a deep breath as I write this because I've never had to ask for help before. I've always been a good and hard worker, never been scared to work multiple jobs to make ends meet.
However, since I've moved to Texas and becoming acclimated to Austin, my health has greatly declined. Meanwhile, I have very strict limitations on my movements, not being able to stand for short or long or long periods of time and what's even worst is that I can't sit for too long as well.
I have multiple doctor's appointments per week and sometimes two to three appointments within one day. So, that is making job searching hard for me. I have to buy a lot of my medications, supplements, and PT equipment out of pocket, which has greatly depleted my savings account.
My doctors are pushing for me to move out of my apartment complex and into a smaller, no-steps community due to my upcoming surgery on my dominant foot, which will take 11 months at the least to recover from if all goes well. With having problems with my feet, I have had to go through multiple pairs of shoes to find the right fit for my braces.
A MAJOR problem is I was just notified that the rent on my unit will be raised over $335 upon renewal on February 1st. With all of this happening so suddenly, I'm trying to keep myself calm and not worry too much about what is not in my control. What is concerning me is having the funds to move, being that I have almost depleted almost all of my savings.
I know that the holidays just passed, but I am asking for help to be able to get a rental truck, pay for movers, and materials to help with the move (boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc.). I don't know what my application fees, administrative fees, first and last month's rent, plus deposit will be. And to top everything off, I need major dental surgery because my decline in health has greatly affected my hair and my teeth. It's so bad that I really haven't left my home since 2022. I would love to feel whole again. So, if there are any leads for doctors to take in a pro bono patient, I would greatly appreciate it.
I just want to be settled as stress-free as possible and continue to work on myself in 2025. I thought I would reach out to see if there are really kind people in the world to help others in their time of need. Thank you, and anything would be greatly appreciated. Be blessed with a wonderful 2025!!
If you would like to contribute in another way I have an Amazon wishlist, Target wishlist, Walmart wishlist, or CashApp $T4ney.
