Dear friends, family, and community,
We are reaching out for our dear colleague and friend, Germain Cano, who recently experienced a freak accident, severing two tendons and an artery in his left hand. This injury required emergency medical treatment and will involve an extensive recovery process.
The extensiveness of the injury is not only painful but temporarily life altering. There will be significant medical bills, physical therapy costs, and most importantly loss of income because Germain will not be able to work for at least the next seven to eight weeks. This is going to be a long and trying recovery involving multiple doctor visits, possible surgeries, physical therapy, and months of complete recovery of this hand.
Anyone who knows Germain knows how hardworking, kind, and generous he is with all of us. During this difficult period,he needs our support and help.
We are asking for your support—either through a donation, sharing this campaign, or simply being supportive as part of the bartending community.. All contributions will go directly to Germain to offset medical expenses, rehabilitation, and loss of income through this slow recovery.
Thank you for showing compassion and empathy towards Germain. He is a kind and generous colleague who could really benefit from our kindness and generosity. Let’s hope that he heals quickly and gets back to work with us..
With the deepest gratitude,
Ellen Christi, the Yankee Stadium Team and MSG family.
