Assist with Melissa Lewis's Cremation Expenses

My name is Alex Hoffman and the picture you see above is my mother, Melissa Lewis. Anyone that knows Melissa knows that she has an outgoing, bubbly spirit at all times. Even though she may not have had much, she would've given anybody the shirt off her back.

Unfortunately, my mother suffered with mental illness that was not attended to. As hard as this is for me, unfortunately, this was a tragic incident in which I was not, nor was anybody, prepared for, as anyone is with death. My mother was found deceased in her vehicle on December 30 at approximately 10:59 AM in Baytown, Texas, in a church parking lot. We just cremated my grandmother less than six months ago, which took a toll on my mother when it came to her mental health. My mother, unfortunately, did not have life insurance and did not have anything saved, so therefore I'm asking for help from anyone that is able to. I really do not like using GoFundMe just because people have scammed so many others. Now, you will not find me on here asking for a large amount of money. I did find a crematorium that was willing to take my mother, and the cost of that is $1210.32. My mother also had a storage building which held, I'm not sure which belongings, but I'm assuming my grandmother's ashes along with a few other important things that also have to be paid for, and that comes out to $123 and some cents. I am not asking for money only; you are more than welcome to call the crematorium. It's called Love Heart and it is located in Spring, Texas, and if you'd rather make a payment on her cremation, I would greatly appreciate that.

I'm usually not one to get on here and ask for help, but at this point in time, it's much needed. I am able to cover some of the cremation, but unfortunately, not all of it at the moment. With the holidays and a little boy who's less than a year old, times are kind of tough for everyone, so I understand. Again, I hate to do this and hate to ask, but anything would be appreciated. I'm not sure what other finances are gonna be popping up as far as her debts or anything, so I am just asking for help with the cremation. If I can raise enough funds, I do plan on having a celebration of life, but from the looks of it at the moment, I'm just worried about getting her cremation done. Thank you, you guys and family, and I'm really sorry that we lost someone that I will always remember as that bubbly, outgoing, outspoken mom that I once had.
