Hello family and friends, it pains me to be writing this, but my mother, Martha Sue Hockaday, unexpectedly passed away Sunday night but was not recovered until yesterday, Tuesday, 07/15/2025. We are not sure why or how it happened. The only way we knew something was wrong with my mother was by her neighbors' concerns about not seeing her leave her home for a few days.

She did not have a life insurance policy or, to my knowledge, a will.

To those reading this, any donations contributed will be used for funeral services.

If you knew my mom, then you know that she was always a bright soul in our lives. She loved spending time with friends and family, making sure others were taken care of before herself.
