Late and sad post. I have never done this before but if you can contribute I would appreciate it very much.

I was at work yesterday and around 1:45 I got a phone call from my husband who was it Mt. Juliet working. The manager at the restaurant we live above had called my husband to tell us that she thinks our fur baby, Legend, aka Big Boy, has had a stroke.

I leave work, pick my two young boys up from school, and head home to see what was wrong with him. I was hoping he would pop hus head up like he normally does and be just fine. That was not the case. Legend could not stand, had errat8c breathing, would not eat or drink, and started whimpering upon hearing me talking to him. (Not actually sure if he was coherent or not at this point.)

The manager of the restaurant came out and said she came into work at eleven and saw him kicking his leg out so she thought he was dreaming. Later on she went outside again and saw him in the same position. She knew something was wrong. That's when she called.

I got our baby to the vet. His blood work was good. His fever was 106. He had blood in his rectum that could have caused blood clots due to the seizure being so long. (Concurrent for four hours at this time.)

They gave him meds and fluids. He had another seizure at 5:30. After that he did good throughout the night. But he started having seizures again the next day.

Ultimately, whatever toxin that got into his system was strong, and every time he would wake up another seizure would happen. I will update when i can. Please help us to fight along with our baby for his life.

I have never done this, but if you can donate to help with his vet bills we would appreciate it very much. We both work, but as you know life is tough for everyone right now. You do not need to pay me. His bill is at the Trousdale County Veteranary Clinic. Anything would help.
