Dear Family and Friends,

We are reaching out to you during this time of unimaginable grief and sadness. On Monday, April 24, 2023, my daughter Janiyah Thompson went missing. My husband and I received a call on Thursday, August 7, 2025, that our beloved Janiyah had been discovered, but sadly, she was discovered deceased on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Janiyah was a genuinely loveable person, and she loved her family dearly. Janiyah cared about everyone and would protect you if she could. Janiyah was a beautiful human being.

This tragedy has burdened the family with unexpected expenses. In the face of these trying times, the family needs support more than ever. We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to help with the cost of Janiyah's final arrangements.
