Hi, my name is Sean and my son Brayden has recently been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. He is the sweetest, funniest, kind-hearted kid you could hope to have as a child. He is severely underweight and whenever he eats, he either vomits or is doubled over in pain due to his body's inability to absorb nutrients as is the inflammatory nature of the disease. He is 5'6" and weighs 85 lbs and has lost 15 lbs in the last year and has been unable to attend school due to the severity of his symptoms. As parents, my wife and I are frightened for him as well as being able to afford the steroid infusion therapy that is required for him to feel some relief from the symptoms of this disease. We both work as parents, have medical insurance but there's no way we can bear the out of pocket cost of the therapy, which costs about $3000 every couple of months. I know a lot of people are suffering these days who have more serious problems than we do. We are grateful for what we have and everyone needs help at some point in their lives. We are at this point now and ask for any assistance you could provide. We have made donations to the homeless in our area and do what we can to ease suffering and hardships of others, both professionally and personally. In the past, my son Brayden has raised money for St Jude's Children's Hospital through his own efforts. Thank you and bless you in advance for your generosity.
