Last night, we received news that my girlfriend's father passed away. Due to her family's current situation, funeral costs are not within our means. Her mother worked as her father's caretaker, and they relied on his social security checks to get by.

After calling funeral homes and the cemetery he wanted to be buried at, we found the estimated price of a funeral would be $5,400, and the burial would cost $2,600. Between these costs and the newly found struggle of her family's rent, we are in a hard place. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if we do not reach our goal, anything helps.
