Assist with cost for needed eye surgery

My 12 year old amazing daughter is scheduled to have surgery on both of her eyes for the second time . She was born with muscular issues that require this for her vision and for her eyes to stay straight . Unfortunately at this great age bullying comes into play and kids have been pointing out her issue making her feel extremely self conscience . As many of us can relate my health insurance plan falls short of basic expectations. Although this falls under medical coverage and is deemed necessary by her ophthalmologist it is all going against my $5000 deductible . I then have an 80/20 split making my max out of pocket $8250.

After speaking to the finance department they advised if I do self pay it will cost $5000 up front as opposed to the $7000+ originally billed to me .

That brings me to the point where I am seeing if anyone by any means is able to help me off set this . I don’t expect to raise the full amount obviously but anything at all would make a world of difference to us as we are a single income family. My car was totaled in January which brought on unexpected costs and insurance increases.

Those that know me know I am a “helper “ by nature . A friend of mine pointed out that folks do these go fund mes for stranger reasons so why not give it a shot . It’s not easy to say I’m now the one that needs a hand but here I am :)
