Assist with Cheri's Final Farewell

- My name is Scott and I am Cheri's oldest son. It's with a very heavy heart that I ask for your support to help pay for end of life expenses for my mom. She had been living in a nursing home for many months to receive transitional care after a short stay in the hospital. More recently, while under the care of doctors, they discovered she had a leaky heart valve which they began to immediately treat with new medication and plans to do surgery if the medicine was ineffective. In the last week, she developed issues breathing that required oxygen and finally Tuesday night, she went to sleep. Early Wednesday morning, the nursing home staff found her not breathing and attempts to revive her were unsuccessful. We had hopes that with the most recent round of therapy that she would be coming home which was all she really wanted.....to be with and closer to her family. We are still in the process of planning which day and time for services and will update as those items are finalized.
