Carol Gard was chosen family. Her sister Sandy met my grandmother while they were working together and brought up Carol to babysit me and my siblings when they came along as well. She became way more than a babysitter to us, and both of them became great aunts that we love having in our lives 20 years later.

Carol passed away on November 7th, only 2 weeks after her 65th birthday, after having some health complications. She was always caring, and she and Sandy helped my grandmother and us out so much after my grandfather died with raising us, and would always put us kids first.

Sandy can't afford the funeral and medical bills, and neither can any of us. We would really appreciate giving what you can to help her with the expense in this tough time. Thank you!
