We are saddened to share that our good friend, Ari, has recently passed. Many of you will recognize the name, and most certainly, you will recognize his smile. ✨️

He was a part of our Smuggler's family for more than two decades. Ari's personality and laugh lit up the dining room. He made guests feel comfortable and well taken care of with such ease and fun! It was no surprise that he had many regulars over the years. His energy was magnetic. Everyone loved working with him, and we were so fortunate to have Ari on our team at the Captain's Table. ❤️

His friends and coworkers in Charlotte County were like his family. We felt the need to create this page for Ari, since he doesn't have any family locally. Ari's family, including his wife, is back home in Indonesia. His family overseas cannot make it to Florida to care for him after his untimely passing. Ari's family has given the responsibility to his dear friend Josh Concia. Josh has graciously accepted the responsibility and ultimate act of love for a friend. We are seeking donations to help Josh with the legal fees, cremation, and funeral home costs needed to put Ari to rest. Any extra donation money will be sent to his grieving family overseas.

Our thoughts are with those who knew him best. Our prayers go to his friends, family, and sincere condolences to his new wife. May his memory be a blessing to you all. It is our hope that his loved ones in Indonesia find peace and closure knowing that his friends here loved him like family.
