Assist with Alicia Mendez's Funeral Costs

It is with a broken heart that I share the devastating news that my mom Alicia Mendez has lost her long and courageous battle. For over two and a half years, my mom fought this battle with remarkable strength and privacy, not wanting to burden anyone with her pain. She was a woman of quiet courage and an amazing mother.

My mom leaves behind her two sons and only daughter. I am grateful that she gets to be reunited with her oldest son Junior. I imagine he welcomed her with open arms and was just as excited to see her!

The road ahead will be incredibly difficult as I make final plans for her funeral.

I understand that many of you want to help, and every prayer, every dollar, and every act of kindness will be a beacon of light during this dark time.
