Assist Walter Peczynski's Long-Term Care

Hi, I am Kelly, the youngest daughter of retired P.O. Walter Peczynski, fundraising on behalf of my family to assist with my father’s long-term care. The money donated will go towards my fathers expenses, and items for him at home like a new bed easier for him to get into and out of, a special chair for him to sit in, and other equipment needed to ensure he can safely be at home, as well as paying for bills incurred from his illness.

My dad worked with both the Sheriff's Department as well as Syracuse Police. A longtime and avid hunter, my father spent a lot of his time in the woods doing what he loved, on the land that he worked very hard to get and maintain- my dad suffered an accident last year after falling over 20 feet out of a tree while trying to move his tree stand, leaving him with broken bones requiring multiple surgeries, and an unfortunate diagnosis of dementia which in less than 6 months has taken my father from an active outdoorsman and Mr. Fix-It around the home, to needing round the clock care that his insurance will no longer pay for, nor will they help with expenses to bring him home.

My family is asking for help with these costs so that my father can spend his last times in the home that he loved and worked so hard for. Please donate anything you can, or share the fundraiser, your help is appreciated more than my family and I can ever put into words.
