My name is Waldo Northrup. I’ll be 60 this year. I was widowed in 2014. I grieved for a few years and tried moving on, but no luck. So, I reached out to my new wife, whom I have known for more than 30 years, and came to California to ask her to be my wife. Bless her heart, she said yes. So, in October, on the 22nd, we tied the knot.

But the reason for this GoFundMe is to get out of California and never come back. I've never done anything like this but figured I’d give it a shot. I’m not trying to be greedy, just enough to get me and my wife to Ohio and start fresh in a state that is more affordable. Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated, and I wouldn’t ask, but I’m on disability, so California is not for anyone on a fixed income. Thanks for reading. Peace.
