My brother Rodney passed away May 18, 2024…peacefully, in his sleep, in the comfort of his home. He was 69 yrs old.
He spent the last few weeks of his life reconnecting with family and friends. I believe he was saying his goodbyes. I loved my brother. I will miss him. I pray he made peace with God and has made his way to that little slice of Decoto in the heavens with my mom and dad, my sister and our brother Roland. I need to believe that one day we will all be together again. I love you Nino…
I have contacted the cemetery to make his arrangements. He has a plot there with my father. My mother make sure that she had a place for him back in 1987 when she purchased that double plot for them.
I’ve never had to ask anyone for anything, but I just can’t do this without help. It’s gonna cost more to open up the plot and place him with my father than it’s gonna cost to have him cremated. I just don’t have the money. I will also need to pack up his apartment and get him moved out. I can’t imagine that will be a cheap nor easy task. I will have to pack his place up, hire a crew to clean and movers for the big pieces of furniture. I will donate what I can’t fit into my car to Pastor Greg and his church. If I reach the goal, and so happen to have anything left over, I will donate that to the church as well.
Anything you are able to help with, I will be beyond grateful. On behalf of my brother Rodney, our younger brother Richard, and myself…Thank-you! Please help us lay Rodney to rest with my father…
