Help Trans Latino in Finding Safe Medical Care

Donation protected
Hi y’all. My name is Valentín, and I am a Latino transgender man living in Oregon, originally a transplant from Texas. I was the victim of instances of medical malpractice and negligence following a severe reaction to the contrast iodine solution injected for a CT scan ordered. On 10/26 I went in for a CT scan, able bodied, and left unable to walk properly (lack of coordination for my brain to send the signal for my legs to move(delayed )). I went in to a (unnamed for legal reasons ) hospital, having symptoms of a reaction to the contrast, and was met with harsh unwillingness to help including not running any tests / neglecting fluids / any critical care during a reaction. The next few days, this turned into seizures that were unexplained and ultimately not helped by any care provided/ neglected. I requested a rollator and the PT did not clear the need for a rollator even though I CANNOT walk. Due to the consistent seizures/ lack of mobility, it’s difficult to work, and I am seeking assistance from the community during these difficult times in order to fundraise to move to California, where my insurance covers more and I have more of a solid support system. After 4 different medical facilities in the last week, I don’t feel comfortable/ trustworthy in receiving competent care from Oregon’s healthcare system as a transgender person of color. Funds will be for 3 months of rent, medications, groceries, and related moving costs I will be transparent with ! Thank you so much for reading this far and I appreciate the support. Thank you for being here as a community.

edit: I’m short term moving to CA as a way to be with community / be supported in multiple ways Oregon cannot right now. Funds will go towards moving / living costs I am saving up right :3 Thank you angels
