Asking for help is hard for everyone but may you please help my husband and I get to Montana for my dad's funeral.

My father passed away at the age of 56 on January 7th, 2026; his funeral will be at the end of the month. My husband and I live in western Washington and need to travel to the middle of Montana. This is a long drive through mountain passes, and we will need to take the trip in 2 days. Once in Montana, we will need to get a hotel room because no one in my family has room for us. We will, however, be able to cook meals in a family kitchen.

I really want to be there to lay my Army vet father to rest. He held an E4 ranking, was part of Charlie Company 3/68 Armor, and loaded the bullets for an M-1 main battle tank. During his service, he acquired the following: Army Commendation Medal, Overseas Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Expert in Firearms, and Marksman on grenades. My father loved his country, his region, and his family. He will be missed by more than just his baby girl "Bobbo" (bob-bo).

The reason we have to drive instead of fly is because my husband is overweight and disabled. He would need two plane seats and his oversized wheelchair, as well as other needed medical supplies. He has a really hard time in overly crowded seats and needs a bigger bathroom than airplanes provide.

Any donated amount is more than appreciated and thank you.
