Help My Nephew Troy Lay His Father, Mike Eplin, to Rest

On October 31, 2025, our family suffered a heartbreaking loss. Mike Eplin passed away suddenly — on his birthday.

Mike leaves behind his only child, Troy Eplin, who is now faced with the painful task of saying goodbye to his dad while taking care of everything on his own. Troy has been incredibly strong through all of this, but no one is ever truly prepared to lose a parent — especially so suddenly.

Mike was a kind and generous man who loved deeply and cared for those around him. He had a big heart, a great sense of humor, and he adored his son more than anything in the world. His passing has left a void that words can’t fill.

I created this GoFundMe to help Troy cover the cost of his father’s funeral and final expenses, which total over $2,500. It’s the last thing a grieving son should have to worry about, but it’s the reality he’s facing.
