Assist Tony's Family in Honoring His Life

Donation protected

We are extremely heartbroken at the loss of Anthony (Tony) Wood, father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle. Tony is gone from us far too soon at the young age of 47 due to complications from diabetes. The family would be grateful for any donation small or large to assist in paying for his funeral and cremation services as he was without any kind of life insurance or remaining finances after living the last few remaining years of his life in a nursing home.

We thank you for any contributions made. For information regarding services for Tony, please contact family or reference Tony's

Anthony "Tony" Alwin Wood, also lovingly referred to as "Bonehead" by his family, 47 of Elkhart, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Goshen Hospital. Tony loved to play the guitar and sing. At family gatherings, you could find him strumming out tunes on the porch while his kids, siblings, or nieces and nephews gathered around him and sang along. Tony had a dream of becoming a stand up comedian and was able to perform on stage, bringing laughter to many as he did in his every day life. In his younger years he played softball and once he had kids of his own, umpired, and coached his childrens teams. Tony spent time as a Karaoke DJ and was known to grab the mic and sing any chance he got. He loved to grill and cook for his family and had an immense love of giraffes. He was always the life of the party, lighting up any room he occupied. He loved to make people laugh, most often with outrages jokes, impressions, and off-the-wall antics. But most of all Tony loved being with his family. He was so proud of his children and loved them with every part of his being. He became a grandpa with his first grandbaby, Azden, whom he adored and was enamored with from day one. Tony will be so greatly missed but those he loved and who loved him back.
