On Saturday, July 6, 2024, our lives were forever changed when two beloved family members, Tom and Patrick, tragically lost their lives in a single-car wreck during the early hours of the morning. Waking up to the news of their sudden passing has left us all devastated, struggling to comprehend how we will move forward without them.
Tom will be fondly remembered as an extraordinary father, husband, son, brother-in-law, cousin, nephew and friend. Known for his genuinely kind nature and infectious laughter, Tom was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His deep love for his family, especially his wife Christel, and son Tommy, was evident in every moment they shared.
Patrick will always be cherished as a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, grandson, friend and boyfriend. A dedicated carpenter and successful business owner of a local construction company, Patrick was admired for his meticulous work and cheerful personality. His playful spirit, filled with dancing, jokes, and laughter, brought joy to everyone around him.
Both Tom and Patrick shared an inseparable bond as brothers and best friends, bringing warmth and laughter wherever they went. Their sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in our family. Tom is survived by his wife Christel, their seven-year-old son Tommy, and his father, Tom Senior. Patrick leaves behind his parents, sisters, and his girlfriend, Savannah.
To support their families during this difficult time as they prepare to lay Tom and Patrick to rest, we have set up this GoFundMe page. Your contributions will help cover funeral expenses, unforeseen costs, and alleviate financial burdens such as mortgages, allowing Tommy to have time with his mother as they navigate life without their beloved father and uncle.
As this tragedy could have never been anticipated, neither Patrick nor Tom have life insurance. The funeral costs alone are expected to be around $15,000. Any donations, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated. Service details are still to be determined.
