Hi, my name is Missy. I am Tina's little sister.
I am starting this fundraiser in hopes to help my brother-in-law with any medical costs, and unexpected costs for Tina.
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, Tina was found unresponsive at her home. Her husband John, called 911 and administered CPR until Med got there and took over. They continued doing CPR until they arrived at the hospital and the hospital staff took over. Tina's heart also stopped many times.
Tina is in ICU on a breathing tube and 3 BP meds to keep her heart going.
As of this morning, they started an acid med because Tina is filling up with acid and they need to reduce that.
She is not responding to any tests that they have done. The docs have done things like press on the nail beds of her toes to see if she responds to pain, and she did not. She has a brain EKG on her head to see how much, if any, activity there is due to not knowing how long she was without oxygen. She is due to get an MRI tomorrow, but the docs are saying her kidneys are shutting down or have shut down. The docs told the family that they do not think she will make it to getting the MRI tomorrow.
I am asking for our friends and family to please find it in your hearts to donate, anything helps. She does not have any kind of life insurance, so all costs endured are all going to fall on family.
She is surrounded by all of her family right now.
*UPDATE*
As of April 27, there has been really no change. She is still on life support, 4 BP meds, and waiting to get a CT and MRI to see what is functioning and not functioning.
I will update again when there is something to update.
