Assist Tina and Kids After Jim's Passing

Donation protected
It is with a very heavy heart that we advise you that James Donnelly, husband of Tina Benish-Donnelly (St. Helena's Catholic School, Class of 1989, and Cardinal Dougherty High School, Class of 1993) passed suddenly in the very early hours on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Jim and Tina are the proud parents of five (5) beautiful children, and the Grandparents of one (1) beautiful Granddaughter, Isabella. Tina immediately began CPR with the guidance of the 911 Operator. When the Ambulance arrived, they got Jim out of the car and began working on Jim immediately on their lawn, in front of their children. Their son Michael is only 12 years old.

To give you some background on Jim's health, on January 15, 2023, Jim was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. At the completion of various tests, Jim and Tina were advised that Jim had Stage Five (5) Kidney Disease. Given the Stage of Jim's Kidney Disease, Jim was required to receive Dialysis three (3) times a week. In addition to seeing his Nephrologist and Endocrinologist, Jim was also required to see a Vascular Surgeon, Gastroenterologist, Retina Specialist, Ophthalmologist, Primary Care Physician, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist and Psychologist.

Jim required round the clock care, meaning Tina was unable to work as Tina was Jim's sole Caretaker, in addition to raising their five (5) children and helping to raise their Granddaughter, Isabella.

The medical bills alone, are astronomical and additional medical bills for Jim will be coming in the mail within days. Two (2) yeas ago, Jim and Tina finally bought their first home after renting for the past twenty (20) years. Jim and Tina poured their entire life savings into their first home, leaving nothing in their Savings Account.

As you can imagine, in addition to grieving, Tina is far beyond worrying about the lack of money. Tina does not have the money to pay the Funeral Home who will perform Jim's Cremation. Tina is worried that she will lose their home that took Jim and Tina over twenty (20) years to purchase. Additionally, Tina has their five (5) children to take care of, who also have their own medical issues.

As we all know, the economy is very bad. With Jim passing so suddenly and right before Christmas, the financial strain on Tina alone is tremendous.

We ask that you please be as generous as possible with your donation(s), and we ask that you please share this Go Fund Me Page to your Facebook, Instagram and any other Social Media Outlets in an effort to raise as much money as possible.

All proceeds will go directly to the Funeral Home, Jim's medical bills and to help support Tina and their children who are facing the most difficult time of their lives.

We greatly appreciate your generosity. Remember, no monetary donation is too small and/or too big. We are grateful for any and all donations and your support of Tina and their children.

We thank you in advance for your support.

here is a little updated on my aunt Tina’s life at the moment.

We are almost at our goal for my Aunt Tina and family. Let’s get her there if we can. I have been in touch with Aunt Tina and she sounds strong but she has had a hiccup along the way again. Now her check engine light is on in her car which she needs to get around, go to interviews and take my cousins places. I appreciate every donation that has been given to her so far. Your kind words and support have meant a lot to my family during this difficult time.
