Assist Theresa's Family in Their Time of Need

Our mother, Theresa Leo Sisto, passed away unexpectedly last October. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. She never met a stranger; everyone was welcome in her home. She was an amazing cook and no one ever left her home hungry. However, she was also a very proud woman and did not like asking for help - even from her family. Unfortunately this has led to us, my brothers and I, finding bills, both unpaid and coming due that we knew nothing about, before even funeral expenses enter the picture. When she grudgingly would ask for help we did so without hesitation. Now, though, we find ourselves being the ones who need to ask for help. Our heads are under water. We could lose the family house before her estate is even settled. Any help would be so apprecaited in this very difficult and emotonal time for our family.
**As an updae, we are still struggling just to pay the normal bills. There was, unfortunately, a reverse mortgage on the house and the bank technically owns it now. We have been given a grace period to try and sell it. The house is on the market. We, however, still have to pay the bills along with property and home insurance. If we default on any of these the bank can take the house overnight if they choose.
3 of our combined 4 siblings work and have our own bills/homes to take care of, along with coming up with extra money to pay these bills so we don't lose the house outright. Our 4th brother is disabled and still living in the house with help. We've been selling possessions and heirlooms trying to make enough money to keep everything afloat but it is Very difficult. If anyone can find it in their heart to help us, even a little, we would be so very grateful. And thank you again to everyone who has already generously helped us.
