On Friday, August 22,2025, our community lost a bright and beloved young soul far too soon. 15-year-old Kendan Saplut was tragically taken from us after being struck by a drunk driver while riding his bike.

Kendan was full of life, laughter, and love. He had so many dreams ahead of him, and his kindness touched everyone who knew him. His passing has left a hole in the hearts of his family, friends, and community that can never be filled.

This loss was sudden and unimaginable, and his family is now facing the overwhelming burden of unexpected burial and memorial expenses. During this heartbreaking time, we are asking for support to help ease the financial strain so his family can focus on grieving and honoring Kendan’s memory.
