My name is Tina, and I am reaching out for my dearest friend and her family. Jen Santiago is a nurse, mother, and friend to so many, and she and her family had to experience the worst trauma, an accident that no family, let alone a parent, should ever have to face.
On May 13, 2025, she received what was the worst phone call any parent could ever receive. That call was from her husband, telling her that their 18-year-old son, Shawn Santiago, had passed away. She was devastated, as any mom would be. My heart goes out to this family. Shawn was a son and a brother to AJ, Brooklyn, and Mia. This family has helped all of us and the community in so many ways over the years. Now, this family needs their village to help support them.
They need to plan a funeral and burial, and I am reaching out to raise funds to help them with this. No parent should be thinking of this ever. Shawn’s passing has left such a huge hole in their hearts, and this will take time for them to grieve and try to process why God would take someone at such a young age. But we, as their village, will continue to support Jen and her family with food, prayer, and any financial assistance we can. Please share this and help; any little bit will help us reach our goal to assist this family.
we will update service date and time as soon as arrangements have been finalized.
