Hello, my name is Valerie Moldovan, I am writing this on behalf of my mom, Patty and sisters Amanda and Natalie.
On the morning of October 3rd, 2025, our dad and husband, Rich Moldovan Jr. was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident. He was on his way to work, riding his motorcycle, when another car failed to yield, tearing his motorcycle in half and leaving his shoe in the middle of the street. The Plainfield ambulance picked him up with little to no heart beat, but worked on him for 45 minutes at Rush Copley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
We are terribly devastated and in complete shock. He leaves behind a hole that will always be empty. He was all of our providers, financially and physically. He kept everything working around us and made sure we are having good lives. He always made us laugh, which was the best way to show us his love.
It is only in the thought of him being with his dearly missed father in heaven that gives us some peace. He truly missed him everyday. And now we will truly miss the both of them everyday, forever.
We are asking for assistance covering his, unexpected funeral and anything that can help us stay on our feet in the meantime. If you can't donate, please share this if possible. We appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Services will be held Tuesday October 7th, 3pm-8pm at Fred C. Dames Funeral home.
