Assist the Lipscomb Family After Tragic Loss

It is with a heavy heart that the Lipscomb Family requests funeral assistance for the tragic and untimely death of Charlie Lipscomb, age 21.

In the early morning hours of May 3, 2025, Glenn (Jay) Lipscomb found his son Charlie dead in his bedroom. His cause of death has yet to be determined.

This father of 8 has now lost 3 of his children -- all in the month of May. In 2017 Jay lost his 16 year old son Pleasant due to medical issues then 2 weeks later he said hello and goodbye to his stillborn daughter Delia and now he has lost his son Charlie whose death occurred one day prior to the anniversary date of his son Pleasant.

The loss of Jay's son and daughter broke his heart but the loss of a third child has shattered his soul. He is inconsolable and overwhelmed with grief. His biggest accomplishment in life is fatherhood. Each child is loved and adored.

Charlie was about to become a father. Both he and his dad were super excited to welcome a new member to the Lipscomb Family. Through his father's struggles, Charlie came to realize that having an education was key to obtaining a job with benefits so he began studying for his GED so he could provide for his family.

Finding your child dead is an unimaginable horror; it is a sight you can never forget. The loss of Charlie has devastated the family. There are no words that can relieve their grief. Their pain is immeasurable.
